CGL Typing is a static browser-based website built by Ankush. You can use the practice tool without creating an account, but the site does store a small amount of browser data so your recent sessions and preferences are still there when you come back.
CGL Typing currently stores recent session summaries, last-used catalog filters, theme preference, and consent-dismissal state in your browser through local storage. This information is used to keep the experience consistent on the same device and is not tied to a login account.
If you clear browser storage, those settings and recent-session entries will be removed from that device.
CGL Typing does not currently run live third-party display ads. If advertising is enabled in the future, Google AdSense or other approved partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP address data, local storage, and similar identifiers to serve, limit, personalize, or measure ads.
When ad serving is active, third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and IP addresses, as part of ad delivery and reporting on the site.
Google explains how its advertising technologies work on partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Users can also review or manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center.
If ads are enabled for users in places where consent is legally required, such as the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, CGL Typing will need to show an appropriate consent message before personalized advertising is served. Live AdSense ads should not be enabled for those regions until a compliant consent setup is in place.
